The selected varieties of olives from which the “Oro del Sol” extra virgin olive oil is extracted come from organic farming and are grown in the land of Murgia of the Terra delle Gravine. The cold extraction and the constant attention to quality allows us to obtain this excellent extra virgin olive oil that contains in itself the scents of a land kissed by the sun.
Blend oil: Coratina, Frantoiana and Picholine.
Cultivation and production area: Terra delle Gravine, between Laterza and Ginosa (Ta).
Land and altitude: Calcareous rich in skeleton, from 90 to 350 meters s.l.m.
Conduction technique: Biological with controlled grassing in alternate rows.
Harvest: Manual with the aid of mechanical facilitators when the olives are on veraison.
Extraction: Cold continuous cycle.
Acidity: 0.12% in oleic acid.
Peroxides: 4.9 meq O2 / kg oil.
Color: Golden with accentuated greenish reflections.
Taste: Balanced. Medium fruity, characterized by hints of freshly mown grass, artichoke and bitter almond.
